Ingredients
- Packet hot-cross buns
- 600ml Lifestyle Food Coconut Milk
- ⅓ cup corn starch
- ⅓ cup brown sugar or coconut sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup pecan nuts
- Orange zest
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Place the easter buns in an ovenproof dish.
- Whisk the coconut milk, corn starch, sugar and vanilla together.
- Pour the coconut milk mixture over the buns and sprinkle with extra sugar and pecans.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until brown on top.
- Add orange zest before serving with whipped coconut cream or ice cream.
