Air-Fryer Chicken Tenders

These tender and juicy chicken pieces are coated in a crunchy blend of panko bread crumbs, crushed potato sticks, cheese crackers, and Parmesan cheese. Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup crushed potato sticks
- 1/2 cup crushed cheese crackers
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon Lifestyle Food Air Fryer Chicken Spice
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- 1kg chicken breasts
- Additional sour cream and chives for serving
Method:
- Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the panko bread crumbs, crushed potato sticks, crushed cheese crackers, grated Parmesan cheese, bacon crumbles, and minced fresh chives.
- In another shallow bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sour cream.
- Dip each chicken tenderloin into the butter mixture, ensuring it is fully coated, and then into the crumb mixture, pressing gently to help the coating adhere.
- Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer on a greased tray in the air fryer basket. Spritz the tenders with cooking spray.
- Cook the chicken in batches, if necessary, and air fry until the coating is golden brown and the chicken is no longer pink. This should take about 7-8 minutes per side.
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a serving plate. Serve them with additional sour cream and a sprinkling of chives on top.
