Tasty Tomato Pasta


250g Lifestyle Foods Gluten Free Pasta

2 tbsp olive oil

½ medium onion, diced

½ tsp red chilli flakes

1 clove of garlic, minced

400g crushed tomato

½ cup of pasta water (reserve after draining cooked pasta)


  1. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside. Don’t forget to save a cup of the pasta water for the sauce.
  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil and fry diced onion until translucent.
  3. Add the chili flakes and garlic, followed by the crushed tomato.
  4. Leave the mixture to simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
  5. If the sauce becomes too thick, use the reserved pasta water to thin it out.
  6. Add the drained pasta to the sauce mixture. Toss to combine and serve immediately.
