Vegan Caramel

Looking for an ice cream topping or something to take a freshly baked dessert to the next level? We’ve got just the thing.


  • 400ml Lifestyle Food coconut cream  
  • 1/3 cup Lifestyle Food macadamia nut butter  
  • 1 cup Lifestyle Food coconut sugar  
  • 1/2 cup golden syrup or honey  
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract  
  • Pinch of salt 


  1. Place all of the caramel ingredients (except the vanilla and salt) in a pot and bring to a simmer and whisk every now again for 15 minutes or so until everything starts to thicken and caramelise.  
  2. Once thickened pour into a glass jar and store at room temperature for about a week.
