Spirulina Smoothie

Power up your immune response with the help from a superfood powerhouse in the form of spirulina.

Research shows that spirulina can boost the production of white blood cells and antibodies in your body, which helps fight viruses and bacteria.


  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cucumber , peeled 
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup mixed berries (frozen)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Lifestyle Foods spirulina powder 
  • 1 Medjool date , pitted
  • 1 large handful baby spinach

Spirulina is rich in plant-based protein and delivers a complete amino acid profile. You’ll also get chlorophyll and various other nutrients, including minerals such as iron, phosphorus, magnesium and calcium, along with various enzymes, powerful antioxidants like beta carotene, and the essential fatty acid gamma linolenic acid (GLA).


  1. Add all dry ingredients to blender, then pour over wet ingredients. 
  2. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
