Chocolate Maca Smoothie

Smoothies are a quick and convenient way to boost the nutrient content of your diet.

Simply blend some fruit with a liquid base and add in a protein and superfood powder (or two) for a nutrient-packed and tasty addition to your meal plan.


  • 2/3 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lifestyle Foods maca powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Lifestyle Foods cacao powder
  • 5 ice cubes

Made from the root of the maca plant, maca powder is teeming with beneficial compounds, including glucosinolates and polyphenols, vitamins C and B6, as well as numerous minerals such as copper, iron, potassium and manganese.


  1. Add all ingredients together in a high-speed blender until you achieve the desired consistency. 
  2. Pour the mixture into a glass and savour every sip.
