Ingredients
- 300g canned butterbeans or chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 1 heaped tbsp Lifestyle Food Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1-2 tsp lemon juice (adjust to taste)
- 1-2 tsp Lifestyle Food Honey (or sweetener of choice)
- 2-3 tbsp Lifestyle Food Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil (for blending)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1-2 ice cubes
- Chili oil or chili sauce (to serve)
- Fresh mint (for garnish)
- Lifestyle Food White Sesame Seeds toasted (for garnish)
Method:
- In a blender, combine the drained butterbeans or chickpeas, Lifestyle Food Smooth Peanut Butter, lemon juice, Lifestyle Food Honey, Lifestyle Food Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the ice cubes to help achieve a creamy, fluffy texture. Blend until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
- Scoop the hummus onto a serving plate, creating a well in the centre.
