This soluble fibre supports intestinal cleansing by encouraging waste matter to move faster through the digestive system. Add 1– 2 tablespoons (25g) of psyllium husk fibre to at least 250ml of water or juice. Stir briskly and drink the full amount before gelling sets in. Psyllium should be taken on an empty stomach and can be used up to twice daily, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
