Lifestyle Food’s Flax Flour. Flax flour is made from freshly milled flaxseed meal. It contains fibre and protein, and is very high in omega-3 fatty acids. Its nutty flavour makes it suitable as a partial replacement for flour, bran and eggs in baking. Add to cereals, yogurt or smoothies. As a flour replacement, substitute 15-30% of flour with flax flour when baking. To replace one egg, stir 1tbsp of flax flour into 3tbsp of water and let stand for 2-3 minutes.
